七十四; 「accidental video post」
[The feed turns on as a cat jumps onto the night stand. Orange fur and tail can be seen before it jumps off of the nightstand and onto the bed, revealing Sasuke sitting up in bed, Akatsuki cloak on with a jacket over his shoulders. He glances over at the new weight on his bed before reaching over to gather Pumpkin in his arms, holding both her and Mouko in his lap. Shadow's laying across his feet, just lounging and playing with a ball of yarn Sasuke found somewhere.
He scratches behind one of Pumpkin's ears before glancing back out the window. It's dark, but the occasional snowflake still hits the window where it melts on contact. The PCD doesn't catch the scowl and glare he throws out the window - cursing the weather, no doubt - but it does catch the shiver that runs through him.
There's one slight huff as Sasuke turns back to face his cats, pulling the jacket over the cloak tighter before the feed turns off.]

He was the captain of the Fifth Division for several decades before I joined the Gotei 13. While he was only a lieutenant, he took quite a few captains and lieutenants out of the picture when his hollowfication experiments attracted the Gotei 13's attention. He framed Urahara Kisuke for his actions, and Shihouin Yoruichi abandoned the Gotei 13 in order to aid in his escape. With that many high ranking officers gone, it was simple for him as well as Ichimaru Gin and Tousen Kaname to rise in the ranks and become captains themselves.
Shortly before I arrived here, Aizen put his plans into motion, slaughtered every member of Seireitei's governing body, and ordered the execution of an innocent woman under their name. He faked his death in order to be beyond suspicion until he decided to reveal himself, took what he needed, and left to Hueco Mundo to prepare for war.
He lives to deceive. Even his zanpakutou's shikai ability serves that purpose. Under no circumstances should you allow yourself or anyone you care about to be subjected to his shikai. He calls it's effects complete hypnosis. Even if you know what you're seeing is an illusion, you still see only the illusion. Most shinigami here are already affected, including myself.

He...doesn't seem to be aware of his actions as a captain. Is that why all of you are so cautious? To prevent something like that from happening here?
