Hm... Well, be responsible and pick up after it. Dogs don't use litter boxes like cats. Feed it kibble, or some meat. Watch the bones. No chocolate. Take it for walks. Keep it on a leash.

The dog will need a lot of love and attention; petting, playing, a sense of companionship with you. You should be its Master, the Alpha of the pack; command it but care for it too. If you want to train it, you'll have to start with the basics: sit, come, lay down, etc. Rewarding with treats should encourage it. Repeat the behavior often enough and it should pick up on it quickly.

A dog is a lot more work than a cat, Sasuke. Cat's are independent beings that just live in your space and occasionally allow you near them. Dogs are your friendly, companionable, and come complete with all the responsibilities that come with maintaining a friendship. If you're there for the dog, he'll be there for you...as long as he lives.
