[Telling him he needs to lighten up because he doesn't want someone like Hino messing with him, which she no doubt would after she lost their bet... To him, that's telling him that he's not allowed to avoid it. It's difficult to get through situations like this, when he honestly doesn't want to argue with Sasuke so close to a holiday, and yet he's constantly feeling like every attempt he does make to "lighten up" is worthless.
