[The feed starts and shows Sasuke at an upward angle from the waist up. It's raining with a mixture of snow, and judging from the lack of duckbutt Sasuke's been out in this weather for quite a while. His cheeks and nose are red, but there's other discoloration on Sasuke's visible cheek - the right. It seems to be bruised somewhat.

Nothing can really be seen of his surroundings except the darkening gray sky, but if you track his coordinates or chakra you would be able to tell he's at the lake, just...staring at nothing.

He's dressed somewhat appropriate for the weather with the jacket Al had given him and a scarf he had managed to find amongst the mess in his room earlier this month. Off screen he's still wearing his ninja sandals, and his toes most likely match the color of his nose, too.

But he doesn't seem to care. Or even notice that his PCD is recording. Again.

The feed goes on in silence before it's broken by a sneeze from Sasuke. He reaches up with an ungloved hand to rub at his nose, and it's at that moment where he realizes...his nose is numb.]

...Right.

[He glances around for a moment before noticing his PCD on the ground close by. He doesn't have any reaction to it recording as he bends down to pick it up. In fact, his eyes are off completely.

The feed ends as he pockets the device.]

[He's not really sure what to say. He had come out here for himself, and to try and clear his head but...he never expected to end up the one reassuring someone.

[He'd come out here for both reasons really. Riku chafes at his nerves. Somehow Roxas knows the bastard had something to do with her death. But he manages to swallow that anger for now as he turns to Sasuke.]

I'm sorry about your friend.

[And after a beat of silence.]

And that your brother doesn't pay much attention to you.

[Roxas caught him by half-surprise. He expected the comment on Naruto, but Itachi... It stops him just as he was about to say something, and instead pulls the blanket tighter as he glances away.

Suddenly, it feels like it had gotten at least ten degrees colder out here.]

I'm used to it.

[He's getting sued to dealing with younger people. Sora for one, is about as mature as a five year old even if he's the same age as you. It helps a lot. And he can't imagine completely ignoring someone he looks at as a brother. Ignoring Sora.

He sighs, and shakes his head.]

Shouldn't have to be.

...He's done it since I was little. It's nothing new.

Doesn't make it right.

It's one thing if they're on missions or gone all the time. Another if they're stuck here too and don't bother with you.

[Hey, he'd be pretty pissed if Axel were here and never bothered with him, no matter how rocky things are.]

I'm already selfish enough.

[Really. He bugs Itachi for attention, and had to insist on Halloween even though he's never bothered with frivolous things before. Itachi training him is enough.]

How much is too selfish?

[Roxas has no idea, and the question will seem strange. He shrugs lightly, as if to dispel any oddness.]

I've heard that wanting to exist is too selfish. But I don't think it is. And neither is wanting to spend time with someone you care about. If Axel were here... [And they somehow get over their issues. Somehow.] I'd be really pissed if he ignored me.

If it's how you feel, is it wrong? I don't think so. You should tell him.

[He's afraid of being pushed aside again, even though the same excuses Itachi used before are null here. But he's always been afraid of not being wanted or needed. It's just part of his abandonment complex.]

[Roxas has his own issues where this is concerned. He'd been abandoned by Xion and Axel both in different ways. And he really doesn't want to see someone else go through it. Especially not someone younger than him.

The Nobody sighs, and puts a hand on the kid's shoulder.]

[Sasuke jumped slightly at the weight on his shoulder, having not expected it. He shifted slightly to glance over at Roxas before returning his gaze back to the lake once more. He really had nothing else to say. He couldn't think straight.]

... Wanna go back?

[Roxas leaves his hand on Sasuke's shoulder for awhile before it slides off. He can't just leave the kid alone. And he won't.]

...Sure. Hitsugaya's waiting.

[He can't help but shudder despite the fact that he was numb.]

Huh. Okay then.

[It must be nice to have a friend here. Or someone close to you, anyway. Something in his chest aches, as he thinks of Axel and Xion. He almost winces, but merely gazes impassively at Sasuke.]

Let's go.

[Wishing he could use the Darkness right now. Really. He sets off walking, at a pace the kid can easily keep up to.]

I don't mind if you stay too.

[Anything to help ease his loneliness. He thinks he's alienated others from him, with asking Kakashi for the training he had held off on.

But he nods, and turns to leave, still holding the blanket tight against his body.]

Huh?

[Hadn't been expecting that. He doesn't socialize. Somebodies aren't his forte. He blinks, and then shrugs.]

Sure.

[Keeps on walking.]
