[He gave a slight cough before beckoning him over. That poor boy, he should have never had to hear the truth but it was pointless to keep it away from him. When he returned, he would forget. Someone was bound to tell Sasuke of his death.]

[Sasuke scooted further onto the bed, situating himself to sit next to Itachi. He paused for a moment before allowing himself to rest his head gently on a shoulder. He was exhausted, and he never did like to think about things like this.]

You'll always be the person I always admired. And I still do. I don't think...I ever stopped.

[Itachi heaved a sigh as his shoulder's shrugged. He kept his eyes on the boy, a frown on his face. This hadn't been what Itachi had planned. The boy was suppose to grow angry, so angry it would make him kill Itachi without a second thought. He heaved a sigh at his failure.]

Then I have failed in my duty back home.
