[When the feed starts, Hinamori's room in the clinic can be seen. Part of it, anyway. Part of Hinamori's bed is also in view, as well as Sasuke and Hitsugaya.

Except, Hitsugaya's sound asleep. Sasuke looks exhausted, himself, but it doesn't look like he's going to sleep anytime soon. Sasuke glances down at the sleeping shinigami resting on his shoulder and can't help but smile a little. Carefully, very carefully, Sasuke moves and wraps an arm around Hitsugaya's shoulders, giving him a slightly more comfortable place to sleep.]

'Bout time you got some rest, Toushirou.

[The feed times out.]

[Not really moving, but... Ugh, he's gotta now, doesn't he? Brb, moving just as carefully as he did before to pick up Hitsugaya, one arm still around his shoulders and the other snaking under his knees. Carefully, very carefully he gets up and walks over to the bed.

[Still no sign of waking, but his grip on Sasuke's shirt only tightened. Anymore and his knuckles would turn white.]

[She would 'awwwww' if she thought she could get away with it without waking anyone.]

Just lie down with him Sasuke-san. I do not think he will wake up anytime soon.

The tight clinging totally catches his attention. He glances down at the shinigami, so very worried.]

[A slight shake of the head as he moves to kneel down.]

It's fine. [All he knows to do is just hold the shinigami closer, like Itachi used to do with him when he was little.]

[Unohana stands back and watches as Sasuke kneels a bit awkwardly, grabbing the blankets an dgetting ready to cover them both once they're comfortable.]

[Once he's in the bed with Hitsugaya, he glances up at Unohana as she covers them with the blanket. That was...unexpected, he thought.]

Thanks.

[Now it's just time to calm down the dragon.]

Sleep well, Sasuke-san.

[One last look at Hinamori, and she f=goes out, softly closing the door behind herself.]

Mm.

[He'll wait until she leaves before glancing down at Hitsugaya. He doesn't want to wake him, but what else can he do...?]

[One brow twitched and his teeth ground together for a moment before relaxing again temporarily, the rest of the muscles in his body tensing and relaxing in unison. But he still didn't let go of Sasuke's shirt.]

[For lack of anything else to do, Sasuke just placed his hand atop Hitsugaya's head once more.

It's just a nightmare...

[The closeness seemed to trigger a gradual change in whatever dream Hitsugaya was inhabiting, and rather than the former jerky movements, he merely began to curl up into himself.]
